This blog is a collection of journal entries and correspondence with my family while I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in the mid-1970’s. Additions and deletions from the original are enclosed in curly brackets, { }. Note that the original letters and journal entries were written long-hand. There are days so full of living they leave no time or desire for the time for telling or recording. Jaime {Olson} and Ed {Shiffer} leave El Salvador later this morning. I have toasted to them and must sleep a few hours.
