This blog is a collection of journal entries and correspondence with my family while I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in the mid-1970’s. Additions and deletions from the original are enclosed in curly brackets, { }. Note that the original letters and journal entries were written long-hand. I had a good day at work, then a party for Larry Allen at night (pupusas {Salvadoran snack food}, popcorn & beer). I have a guest in the room tonight, it’s late and I don’t want to keep him up.
